PUMPSTER GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS

PUMPSTER is a weekly online magazine that utilizes adult imagery in its stories and features. We satirize social topics, such as religion, politics, celebrities, and society, and aspire to reveal hypocrisy in those who wage "war" on pornography in our free, progressive society that legally decreed separation of church and state. We are most interested in unique, funny pieces focused on sexual practices or events but not always about the sex industry. PUMPSTER is fifty percent freelance written. We consider all formats and always are open to fresh voices and new ideas. We also accept original submissions for non-fiction, exposes, personal experience, opinion pieces, and rants. Submissions should be between 450 to 750 words. We buy First Serial and Electronic Rights and pay $.05 per word and purchase up to sixteen pieces per month. We accept Serial submissions (reprints) and pay $.025 per word. Please familiarize yourself with our style before submitting or querying.

We are also looking for cartoons, video clips, graphics, and original, humorous songs. Unless previously agreed, compensation for such works will be a reciprocal link to your site. Currently, we are looking for the right approach to other time-honored print media features such as sex advice, horoscopes, and a sports column.

We especially are interested in receiving “blooper” pics from professional photographers in the adult business. We pay $1.00 per pic.

SUBMISSION AGREEMENT FOR SUBMISSION OF ADDITIONAL CREATIVE MATERIALS

1. You are submitting the following Material to PUMPSTER for its exclusive use unless previously agreed otherwise.

2. You agree you are the Author of the Material or that you are the Sole Owner and hold the rights to the Material, and that no third party has any rights to all or part of the Material you are submitting to PUMPSTER.

3. You agree to not hold PUMPSTER liable for any unseen results of PUMPSTER publishing the Material you submit.

4. You agree PUMPSTER may reprint the Material additional times.

5. You agree that by submitting Material, PUMPSTER is in no way under obligation to publish, review, purchase, or return your Material.

6. PUMPSTER may edit submitted material, including the use of programs such as Adobe Photoshop, as it deems necessary, unless previously agreed otherwise.

7. You agree to retain a copy of the Material and cannot hold PUMPSTER responsible for loss or damage to your work.

8. You agree that if you do not use a Pseudonym, your legal name may appear in an issue of PUMPSTER as a Byline or an Acknowledgment. PUMPSTER retains the rights to provide or deny Bylines or Acknowledgments.

9. You agree that you have read and understand this agreement.
